The Motor 100 was released in 1985. This was only the second time the Model 'T' Van had been used to celebrate an event not concurrent with the era of the actual vehicle. It was used to celebrate the centenary of the internal combustion engine, an event which was centred on the famous Silverstone racing circuit in England.
2,300 such models were produced with certificates and were sold at Silverstone with all proceeds going to the Motor & Cycle Trade Benevolent Fund charity. After the event it was released worldwide, but without the centenary event certificates.

Livery: (Tampo)
'MOTOR 100' in red circling globe of the earth in white and blue with event details in black lettering around globe on both sides of van.
Extensive black double coachlining to body of van and cab doors.

Variations/Rarities: It was painted metallic bronze with a dark brown chassis and roof.
It had black plastic seats.
The radiator and windscreen frame were gold plated.
It can be found with bright red, dull red or gold 12 spoke wheels.
It has type 3 engraved rear doors.

The first version of the golden MOTOR 100 model was certified and its price is roughly double. Extremely rare, however, is the version with an inverted cream and blue color in the image of the globe.
It featured decals for the Silverstone 'Motor 100' event of which a few have been found with the printed colours reversed, ie.- blue land and cream water instead of blue water and cream land and these are hard to find/ extremely rare.
